She's a modern Indian poet, and she has such a deep resonance in her words. Each image is vivid and descriptive, and I can't wait to see what else she's going to write.
Bio:
Poet, writer, and dancer Tishani Doshi was born in Madras, India, to Welsh and Gujarati parents. She earned a BA from Queens College in North Carolina and an MA from the Writing Seminars from the Johns Hopkins University.
