Not so-thinly veiled political commentary, original riff on the emperor's new clothes, SATIRE

Everything he touched was beautiful and perfect, for that was what he was. If a business failed, if an enterprise failed to give him its due, obviously that was someone else's fault. After all, he was the best of the best and no one could contest that.

Unless, of course, they were beneath him and envious. He couldn't help it if they failed to love him for all he was; jealousy ran deep in the human soul after all.

He was the best thing to ever happen to the empire of commerce and politics. The others would fall in line.
