Oliver Queen watched the one woman he knew he loved beyond life itself turn away from him. The worst part of this was that it hadn't been a fiery, passionate fight. That, he realized, might have led to making up. This quiet ending, with her telling him that sometimes love wasn't enough — it felt too damned final.
He had tried. He'd rebuilt his life with her several times now. He'd thought he gave her all he could.
Maybe he had. Maybe it just wasn't enough, just like she said. Maybe he was too broken to know how to give all.
