Title: Meeting the Lawyer (excerpt)
Author: Rroselavy
Rating: PG
Summary: Set in 1979. Sam Kennedy leaves New York City behind to take a position as head librarian for a regional library in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, to finally try to heal the wounds left by his father's shocking murder. This scene is placed probably midway, if not further along in the story. If you'd like to read a little more about When The Time Comes, you can find information here: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/671140. As this is still a WIP, the story is evolving and the names may change in the future.
Content Notice: Men kissing.
Author's Note: Back in November I had this idea that I would write a novel and I joined NaNoWriMo. I managed about 4700 words (the first chapter) that have yet to see the light of day. The concept of the novel was to use the dynamics of the Saiyuki story I love and to generate a work of fiction that could stand on its own; something that could be read and enjoyed by people unfamiliar with the characters and the fandom. With thanks to
whymzycal, who gave it the once-over.
