I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Don't feel guilty if you requested a prompt and you haven't written it—it's been a crazy couple of months.

The fifth poet we're revisiting this year is Ai!

and now it feeds off fear
that is mostly justified

Day 13:
They call me a cruel sonofabitch
just to aggravate me,
but my strength is the truth.

Day 14:
Those scissors you wielded like a surgeon
cut away that version of me
and now you don't know who I am

Day 1:
anyway, we were sick of bullshit rules
that make a girl go crazy.

Day 2:
They didn't worry about the future,
or what that lie might mean to me.

Day 3:
a member of the audience holds up
an object from your past
and you identify it with charades

Day 4:
"But I've already been tempted twice and given in.
Sin is so delicious,

Day 5:

Then as if on command,
I start running from childhood

Day 6:
Nobody believes the lies you tell,
but they want to
and that's enough.

After he told them, "Go ahead and kill me. I don't give a damn."
